Hosted by the Loveland Interfaith Effort (LIFE) Food Pantry, luncheon guests choose from a variety of soups, breads, and desserts all donated by local Loveland restaurants like Paxton’s Grill and Ramsey's Trailside. Everyone who comes will get to pick out a unique, hand-crafted pottery bowl from hundreds donated by local Cincinnati artists. There will also be a drawing for themed raffle baskets

Kiwanis Club of Oxford Annual Holiday Food Drive
Please support the Kiwanis Club of Oxford
in their annual Holiday Food Drive supporting the Talawanda Oxford Pantry and Social Services (TOPSS). Your donation will allow TOPSS to purchase and distribute Kroger gift cards for both Thanksgiving and December holiday shopping, furthering TOPSS's goal of honoring shoppers' dignity by allowing them to choose items according to their household size and their family's food preference.

Experienced potters are invited to join us for Oxford Empty Bowls' 2023 Bowl-A-Thon on Saturday, September 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Co-sponsored by the Miami University Department of Art and the M.U. Ceramics Club, the Bowl-A-Thon brings together students and area potters for a day of bowl throwing in the University Ceramics Studio. This is not a "learn-to-throw" event; rather, it brings together individuals who can already throw pots for a marathon day of throwing. We provide the wheel. We provide the clay. You t hrow all day! Optional bowl trimming is scheduled for Sunday, October 1, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Miami University's International Student Center, in collaboration with the Student Success Center, is coordinating a Food Drive for Miami Students. Desired items are noted on the flyer; the following items are also needed:
- Home goods (dishes, pans, utensils, etc.)
- Small electronics (hair dryers, fans, etc.)
- New/gently used bedding or towels
- New/gently used winter coats or other winter gear

While coordinated by a small (but mighty!) organizational team, it is the collective impact of all efforts, large and small, that make Oxford Empty Bowls the celebration of service, art, and community it has grown to be.
